Vision:  While maintaining the rich traditions of the University, we will become one of the top music programs in the nation that fosters effective thinkers, high character, active learners, proficient musicians and future alumni.

Mission:  To create a positive culture of people and musicians through the medium of music while being the leaders in band pageantry, discipline, and musicality as a result of staying true to our band pledge.

By registering my student, I hereby consent to and authorize Jackson State University to use and/or reproduce photographs and/or video which have been taken of the student I am registering (in conjunction with this event by an JSU official or agent representing JSU) for reproduction in brochures, booklets, print advertisements and/or on JSU's Web site that promote JSU or a department, office, program of JSU.  The associated media are the property of JSU to be used only as described above.  In the event that the student's likeness is used, there will be no identifying information.
