The Metro Jackson Community Prevention Coalition Summer Teen Camp (MJCPC) is designed to educate students about the dangers of drug use and the importance of making healthy life choices. Group training sessions emphasize personal development skills, techniques for good decision-making and physical activity. These sessions have been designed to help students develop resistance skills, to detour the peer pressure of using illicit substances; to develop positive self-images; to develop strong decision making and problem solving skills and build healthy relationships fostering a healthy self-confidence in social situations.
